Billy's brother Albie will headline a concert at the Philharmonic Hall, Liverpool, on Easter Saturday, April 19.

Also on the bill will be Colin Paul and the Persuaders, Tommy Bruce, Wee Willie Harris and Laura, and it will be compèred by Frankie Connor of BBC Radio Merseyside.  Frankie wrote all of the tracks on Albie's superb EP, I Never Met Colette.

On display will be Billy's first guitar, and what is described as his "first ever demo record".  I'm assuming that this will be the Percy Philips record.

Doors open at 7pm, and the show starts at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £13 from the Philharmonic Hall box office (0151 7093789) or £14.30 including a shipping and handling charge from Recordcore,  PO Box 116, Northwich, Cheshire, CW9 5UG (01565 734066/07970 219701).  Entry on the night will cost £16.

The funds for the £40,000 bronze statue of Billy, to be erected in the Albert Dock area, have been raised by an independent group, the Billy Fury Bronze Fund, and it will be unveiled at 2.30pm on the same day.
