in two years time suzie will be twice as old as she was five years ago
how old is she?

Let A = her age

So A + 2 = 2(A - 5)

So you just need to solve this equation, carry on :wink:

My answer is (highlight to read it if you don't want to solve the equation yourself) - - - - 12

Well I work mine out differently and make it 12 - don't know if this is right.

I take 2 x 5 = 10 + 2 = 12

I am not in to A - whatever as we didn't learn that at school :razz:
