They would need to be looking in different directions to keep up with Moya! :)

I try to avoid sending mailing list messages more than once a week, so this is news in advance for the benefit of the "regulars" who are on the message board, that I have now secured the rooms at both Innkeepers Lodges at a rate of £79.90 (total) PER ROOM for THREE nights' bed and breakfast.

That's the Friday, Saturday and Sunday night, of which the Sunday night is free of charge. (The same arrangement as this year - so if you don't want to stay on the Sunday night, that's fine, but obviously there is no refund.)

We will again have the meeting room at the base hotel on the Friday, so I hope early-comers will want to socialise, and it will also be used for the jam session on Friday night. I am hoping that we will also be able us to use it for socialising on the Sunday morning.

At present, I am guaranteeing £3,000-worth of bookings with my credit card. :???:

SO, to continue holding the rooms, I shall ask anyone who has not yet bought a Sunnyside ticket to buy at least one for each room they have reserved, by December 31.

Failing that, I shall swap the room(s) with those of people on stand-by in the back-up hotel, who have bought a ticket.

Because we have reserved so many rooms, there is a 20-day cancellation period, so I shall require full payment for the rooms by Friday February 19.

I am working on transport arrangements between the two hotels and the Sunnyside.
Just direct your feet to the Sunnyside of the street.
Just because I'm paranoid, it doesn't mean they're NOT all out to get me.

Hi Harry

For those who want to travel on the Thursday and have an extra night at the hotel (to be there in plenty of time for the Friday sessions), shall we make our own arrangements with the hotel, or are you able to do this for us so we can hopefully have the same room for the 4 days?

Katie and I would definitely like to travel on the Thursday, as we did last year.

You can book a single night (Thursday) on their website, and they will allow you to keep the room if you explain on arrival.
